Mountaineers For Christ (M4C) is composed of young adults from WVU, Fairmont State and post graduates seeking to glorify God while pursuing faith-building opportunities, friendships, service and fun. It is an outreach effort by the Morgantown church of Christ.
A Church Home: The Morgantown church of Christ offers students a college-level Bible study each Sunday morning at 9:30, lunch each Sunday after worship (starting in August), rides to services, social activities and service opportunities. Wednesday at 6:30 there is a Women's Bible Study and Discovery Bible Study.
Christian Friendship and Fun: Mountaineers For Christ are pursuing friendships through various opportunities to connect with other students and church family. Past activities include boating, hiking, camping, game nights, snow tubing at Wisp, and caving. Men and Women's retreats offer a weekend of social and spiritual events with church members.
The Northeast Ministries Fall Retreat: Campus ministries from the northeast combine for one weekend of spiritual development and fun in November.
Opportunities to Serve: WATS (We Are The Sermon) is a day of service in October. Students work alongside church members on projects such as visiting with nursing home residents, building handicap ramps, and cleaning and minor repairs at local shelters.
