Spring Quarter Classes

A new slate of educational and interesting classes begins April 2nd. These are our Sunday offerings, like a class on Genesis in the auditorium taught by Dick Shuttlesworth, an "Extreme Discipleship" class taught by Richard Moore, a class for young marrieds and a class for college-aged individuals. In addition, on Wednesday evenings there is a class on church history taught by Mark LaValley in the auditorium, a praise and harmony class taught by Jarrod DeVault, and a class on "The Democratic God" taught by Chuck Keeney. Find a Small Group

For more than a decade, our congregation has had small groups meeting in homes on Sunday evenings. All our small groups follow a common curriculum, are led by capable men and are great tools to provide in-depth teaching and fellowship. We have a group at the church building that meets at 6:00. Our students have an evening 6:00 “service” at our Christian Student Center near Towers dorms (address below). Check your church bulletin for the name of some small group leaders and join one this month!

Pray with An Elder

If you would like to meet with an elder for prayer or discussion, one of our elders will be in the library after every Sunday morning service.

Leadership Training Plan

For those interested, a Leadership Training Plan is available on the table in the foyer. You are invited to pick up a copy.

All Small Groups Gathering at the Hart's on May 18th

There is a small groups gathering at John and Debbie Hart's house on Sunday, May 18th at 6 pm. Individual small groups will be asked to bring a particular item, such as vegetables, desserts, etc. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided. If you can bring a lawn chair for each member of your family, this would be greatly appreciated. A time for singing, sharing, fun and fellowship is promised.

Ohio Valley Work Camp -- June 22-27

Ohio Valley Work Camp is coming up in June for our Junior and Senior high school students! See Brent Wilmoth or Michele Scherer for application forms. These forms need to be in by May 18th. To get a better idea of what they will be working on, go to movworkcamp.org.

Moutaineer Christian Youth Camp -- July 13-18th

The Mountaineer Christian Youth Camp is July 13-18th this year. This Christian camp is for kids ages 10-18 and occurs in Philippi, WV. For more information, contact Michele Scherer.

Tuesday School Enrollment

We are now taking applications for next year for Tuesday School. If your child will be two, three, or four by the end of September 2008, he/she is eligible for Tuesday School. Our members receive priority preference. Please see Michele Scherer if you would like to enroll your child or if you would like to teach Tuesday School.
