During 2009, our congregation will be reading through the Bible together. Our adult, college and teen Bible classes will be following the "Look at the Book" curriculum during Sunday morning classes. In addition, the Sunday morning sermons will also fucus on the selected Bible reading from the previous week. Participants will receive a notebook with a reading schedule and study notes. The four classes are organized by age groups as follows:
Fifty-Somethings and Seventy and Over -- Auditorium, Team taught, coordinated by Richard Moore
Thirty-Somethings and Sixty-Somethings -- Large Adult Classroom, Team taught, coordinated by John Wimer
College Students, Twenty-Somethings and Forty-Somethings -- SW Fellowship Wing, Team taught, coordinated by Charlie Morris
Teens -- Teen Classroom, Brent Wilmoth
We will be taking the next six weeks to look at the important topic of how to incorporate our careers into our Christianity. We will learn that all of our lives are to be in service to Christ, that we truly can work at our job "with all of our heart, as serving the Lord" (Colossians 3:23).
This singing workshop will teach songs to be featured in the upcoming Keith Lancaster seminar. "Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise." Psalm 41:6-7. New songs, new friends, new life in Christ Jesus! Classics revisited and created as we lift our voices to God.
A women's class, this seminar study is going through the workbook for Max Lucado's book 3:16, a study to encourage you to believe how much God loves you through Jesus Christ our Lord.
